Dr. Anuradha Vempati, M.D., FAAP

Dr. Vempati is a graduate of Guntur Medical College, India. She did her pediatric residency at Hurley Medical Center. Dr. Vempati began practicing in Jay Eastman Pediatrics in October 2003. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Vempati is affiliated with Henry Ford Macomb Hospital and William Beaumont (Troy) Hospital.
Dr. Vempati is passionate about patient education and preventative health care for children. She finds joy in giving children and their families the knowledge and skills needed to set up healthy habits for life. Dr. Vempati provides high quality compassionate care for her patients with a special emphasis on well-child care and disease prevention. She strongly believes that the foundations for a healthy life begin in childhood and works to teach and empower families to make the best choices for their children. She loves spending time with families and watching children and parents grow together.

Knowing I wanted to be a pediatrician since I was 4 years old I can honestly say I’m living out my dream! I moved to the metro Detroit area as a kid from Macedonia and have called Southeast MI home ever since! I went to Wayne State for my Bachelors of Science and Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine for my M.D. and completed residency at Children’s Hospital of MI. I have been married to the love of my life for 3 years and we just welcomed our precious little son Leo & we absolutely adore him. Travel has always been a passion of mine, as is event planning and baking! I also enjoy sharing medical knowledge with other moms via my podcast – 3PedsInAPod!

Sara Flanigan has served as a Registered Nurse in the area for the past six years. She has worked with patients of all ages in hospital and office settings while training as a Nurse Practitioner and has a passion for working with children. Sara joined Eastman & Vempati MD, PC in September of 2019.
